The 4th annual Cedar Ridge Hilly Half Marathon & 10k will be held on the TBD

The race is held at Cedar Ridge Camp (57 Cemetery Road, McArthurs Mills, ON) in the beautiful Madawaska Highlands. For more info on the course and to get course maps, click here.

You can pick up your race kit, shirt, and free swag at Cedar Ridge during your race weekend check-in or on the morning of race day. (You must pick up your race packet no later than 30 min before the start of the race on race day).

Yes, the race is chip timed to ensure the accuracy of all race results.

The course moves through the rolling hills surrounding the Cedar Ridge property. It is mostly run on McCaw Rd which is a hard-packed dirt road with a few looser dirt/sand sections. You should expect lots of hills of varying sizes and lengths along the course. A tall and steep hill called the Bessemer Beast is located in the middle of the half marathon course so be prepared to conquer this behemoth.

Wear what you would run in regularly, but make sure to check the weather first. There’s a race shirt which would be fun if everyone wore it but is definitely not required. Costumes and other fun things are also encouraged. Just leave sharp and pointy parts to your costume at home. Both road and trail running shoes are acceptable forms of footwear for our hard-packed dirt road course.

There is no age limit for either race but we recommend that younger children attempting the run are accompanied in the race by a parent or guardian.

All finishers will receive a Hilly Half medal on the completion of the race. The top finishers male and female will be recognized and prizes awarded.

All race results will be posted on the results page after the race has finished.
