Supporting Charities

A portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to Amici Camping and Kids in Camp charities. These charities support campers and their families by making it possible for underprivileged kids to reach their full potential through camp experiences.

Amici is a registered charity that helps send children, ages 7 – 17, from low-income
households to overnight summer camps across Ontario. Amici’s mission is to foster personal growth and life-long skills in children with financial need through multi-year access to the unique environment of camp.

Kids in Camp is a registered charity established to financially assist
families in sending their children to an Ontario Camps
Association accredited camp. In addition, the camps contribute a
significant portion of the campers’ fees. Summer camp gives
opportunities for children to develop long-lasting relationships and to
acquire lifelong skills and an appreciation of the natural environment.
