Supporting Charities

A portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Amici
Camping and Kids in Camp charities. These charities support campers and
their families by making it possible for underprivileged kids to reach their
full potential through camp experiences.

Amici sends children, ages 7 – 17, from low-income households to overnight summer camps across Ontario. Established in 1966, Amici partners with 44 OCA accredited camps throughout the province to provide multi-year support for their campers. 

Kids in Camp is a registered charity established to financially assist families to send their kids to an Ontario Camps Association accredited camp. They strive to give opportunities for children to develop long-lasting relationships and to acquire lifelong skills and an appreciation of the natural environment.
